Insulated glass


What is insulated glass?

Insulated glass is composed of glass panels sheets joined by a separator for the conservation of climate in an interior space. It is frequently used for locations with extreme cold or hot climates, being installed mainly on facades to keep a comfortable climate. This is, in hot climate areas it significantly keeps the heat out, and in cold climate areas, it keeps the interior temperature. Low-E glass allows the higher benefits of insulation.




How is it composed?

It consists of the assembly of two or more glass sheets by a separator.

Insulated glass may have various features according to the sheets of glass.
